Meet Juliet West

Juliet West - Christian Marriage Counselor in Austin, TX

When I was a young girl growing up in Jamaica, one of my favorite pastimes was sitting in my little brown chair, listening to my friends share about their lives and concerns. I was deeply intrigued and always enjoyed helping them resolve their issues (although I didn't have it all together myself!). Fast forward a few decades later...I discovered my passion for counseling as I continued to notice that I loved spending time with people, listening to their stories, facilitating their self-awareness, and being a catalyst for change and healing in their lives.

I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of eleven, and for a large part of my adult life, I struggled with negative feelings and behaviors that kept tripping me up. I wasn't able to "make my Christian life work." It wasn't until I was able to understand God's grace, learn who I was in Him, get to the root of my hurts, and experience His healing, that I was able to live in vibrant, yet intimate closeness with Him.

As a result of my own personal journey, I am committed, as a Christian therapist to helping you find your freedom, healing and wholeness in Christ and showing you that it is possible to experience the full, rich life that He died to give you.
