Jesus Lives Inside Us. Wait, What? Part 2

The more I thought about the idea that Jesus actually lived inside me, the more I began to see it validated in the Bible. Galatians 2:20 talks about it not being me who lives anymore, but Christ who lives in me. Ephesians 3:15 mentions His Spirit which lives in our inner being. Colossians 1 :27 says that Christ living in me is my hope of sharing in His glory. Even the Old Testament in Ezekiel and Isaiah refer to God putting His Spirit inside His people to guide them in His ways. And of course an all-time favorite, 1 John 4:4, which states that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. I don’t know if that brings you comfort, but it sure brings me comfort. It reminds me that I am not alone and that when God says He’ll give me everything I need, He begins on the inside, where I need it most; more love, joy, peace, courage, patience, and all of those invaluable gifts that cannot be taken away.

Do you believe this truth? If so, how has it changed your life? If not, why not?
